In 2000, Schuler co-founded Stylegarage, a pioneering furniture store in Toronto, and co-created Gus* Modern in 2002, a trailblazing furniture brand elebrated for its contemporary designs and commitment to craftsmanship.

During the pandemic, Schuler reignited her passion for brand building and entrepreneurial spirit, and embarked on her most ambitious venture yet. During her search for clean beauty products, Amanda was surprised how so many ‘clean’ skincare products had upwards of 15-50 ingredients. This gap in the market was what ultimately inspired the Ember Wellness collection; a back-to-basics approach where
each product contains a minimal amount of ingredients, only precisely what is
needed.

Drawing on her expertise in brand development and clean beauty power, she pioneered a new approach to skincare, championing low-ingredient formulations and innovative solid formats that not only resonate with modern consumers but also align with her vision for a more sustainable future. All Ember products are purposely crafted with no fillers or water, presenting high quality ingredients, honoring the skin’s natural barrier.

With Ember Wellness, she continues to push boundaries, challenging industry norms, and inspiring others to rethink their approach to skincare and sustainability. Schuler is a passionate advocate for environmental conservation and social responsibility.
